It’s easy to get to the arena by S-Bahn (suburban train) and Strassenbahn (tram), and some buses go there as well. The S-Bahn takes only 6 minutes from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main railway station). But the tram route has been modernised and is now much faster, too.

Plan of the Rhein-Main-VerkehrsverbundFrom Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof
Take the S8 or S9 suburban line in the direction of Mainz or Wiesbaden from the lower level of Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to the ‘Stadion’ stop. On match days, extra trams (line 21) to the ‘Stadion’ leave Hauptbahnhof every 3 minutes. The tram is more convenient for spectators with tickets for the main block and the eastern block.
