» Where to top up the cashless payment card?
You can top up your card with a staff member dressed in lime green. They will top up your card easily by using cash (minimum €5).
» Where is the cashless payment card accepted?
The card is accepted at all kiosks at Commerzbank-Arena. Once you have topped up your card, head to the kiosk to buy your drinks and snacks. Payment will be taken from your card when you scan your card onto a reader which will display the total cost and the remaining balance on your cashless card.
» How long is the cashless payment card valid?
The card is generally valid for a period of a year and one day.
» Why a cashless payment card/system?
Stadion Frankfurt Management recognise the benefits of the cashless payment system. Thanks to "justpay" at the Commerzbank-Arena, supporters and visitors will benefit from reduced queuing times thereby improving their overall match day experience. cashless payment will lead to less queuing and faster service at the kiosks.
» How much does the cashless payment card cost?
The card itself costs nothing. The initial top-up is minimum €10. This includes €8 credit and a €2 refundable deposit. The card can then be topped up in €5 increments to a maximum of €150. We recommend that you top up your card with the average amount that you spend for food and drinks to prevent topping up too often. Please remember, unused credit can be redeemed at the cashless payment Refund Stations or can be used to buy food and drinks at following events at Commerzbank-Arena, RheinEnergieStadion, Cologne, Fritz-Walter-Stadion, Kaiserslautern, Rhein-Neckar-Arena, Hoffenheim.
» How does it work?
The card contains a contactless chip that utilizes RFID technology. Once you have topped up your card, head to your usual kiosk to buy food and drinks. Payment will be taken from your card once you place your card on reader which will display the total price and the remaining credit on your cashless card.
» How safe is the cashless payment card?
The cards work contactless and can only be read by cashless payment readers. Furthermore file transfers and all stored information on the card is encrypted and therefore protected against unauthorized access or manipulation. The cards are generally not personalized, but each card can be registered via the unique 10-digit card number if the customer wishes to.
